Barcelona Balloon Flights
Experience magical aerial views of the Catalan countryside from the vantage point of a hot air balloon, and glide with the breeze over landscapes that include the Montserrat Mountains.
Flights are scheduled throughout the year and early in the morning, when the winds are calm and the air is cool and stable. Upon arrival at the launch site, your team will offer you hot coffee and croissants. You can participate in preparing and inflating the balloons, before getting on board and airborne. Float up on the gentle take-off and discover some of the most majestic views of Catalonia, depending on the area
chosen for the experience. Your actual balloon flight will last for approximately 1 hour.
During the flight the pilot will be in permanent contact with the ground crew, who will be there to greet you upon landing. After packing away the balloon, celebrate with a traditional Champagne toast, taste local cheese & sweet wine and get your personal Flight Certificate signed by your pilot.

In fact, I was actually unable to fly due to unforeseen circumstances. That said, Fernando and his team made every effort to reschedule during my short time in Barcelona. The professionalism he and his team displayed was amazing particularly during this time when help is so difficult to find. I applaud the quality of their service and will definitely reschedule with them. Class act.

This Hot Air Ballon Flight was the highlight of my Trip. The views were amazing, the weather was great and our Pilot John made this experience very enjoyable, we conversed and he made the journey calming. After our flight, we had a nice elegant wine and snack setup.

I cannot say enough positive comments about this company and the experience! Staff was patient online while I emailed several questions before booking then all the details were provided in an email. We were picked up by a very nice Australian man who talked with us about the culture the whole ride to the hanger. We were a little nervous when we off-roaded to get there but it was all something to laugh at later. While the staff set up they allowed us to take pictures, help and breakfast was even provided!! We had an AMAZING pilot who took us up and taught us all about the area and art of flying. Afterwards, we toasted champagne and ate cheese/meats! This was the last day of our trip and we couldn't have spent it a better way. THANK YOU !!

It's impossible to pass all feeling of the flight and experience with Barcelonaballoonflights. Absolutely easy to communicate, absolutely accurate guys. Everything was exactly like they promised. It's amazing. They are very professional and very warm people. It was just pleasure to spend time to takeoff place, back and of course during the flight. Jordi was our pilot and he speaks English excellent with unforgettable humor and interesting details about landscape and ballooning. We was happy to make a flight and it was really great job from Barcelonaballonflights for sure. Good lucj, guys!

Very good communications, punctual door to door pick up from hotel to site. Our pilot Fernando was professional, fun and skilful and it was an extremely smooth and wonderful flight. Was a truly memorable experience !
Late Pickup, but Cool Balloon Experience

Our experience with Barcelona Balloon Flights started out very bad. We were instructed to be at Plaza de Catalunya for a 6:30AM pickup. We were at the pickup location prior to 6:30AM, but no one was there. There was an issue of some sort (still unclear), and the driver from Barcelona Balloon Flights did not arrive until 7:30AM. We then sat in rush hour traffic for over an hour and arrived at the balloon at 8:50AM. We were supposed to arrive by 7:00AM. Because we were 2 hours late, we missed out on:
-Breakfast at the balloon site
-Setting up the balloon (and taking pictures with the balloon blown up)
-A safety briefing
The balloon was fully blown up and ready to go when we arrived. As soon as we got out of the van, we were being told to 'Get in the balloon! We have to leave!'. It was very hectic, stressful, and chaotic. I also did not like that we did not have a safety briefing of any kind. There were 9 people plus our instructor in the basket, for a total of 10 people. It did feel a little cramped but it wasn't terrible.
We had a foggy day, but the clouds were low enough that our balloon was able to go over them. Being above the clouds was a surreal experience that I'm sure we will never forget. After that, the remainder of the balloon ride is up and down until you're in a good position to land. We were in the balloon for about 1 hour.
Overall, being in the ballon was a lot of fun, but due to the rough start we felt like we missed out on half of the experience. We were looking forward to setting up the balloon, and being excited as we saw it get blown up. Instead we were rushed in without any regard to rules, regulations, or general safety guidelines. The majority of our experience consisted of waiting in the plaza and sitting in traffic. Overall I would still recommend the balloon ride.
