We’d seen some of the top tourist sights before on previous visits, but this was all
self-guided and required a lot of research to find and learn about the architecture and
History etc. For this trip, I wanted to do something a little different, especially as it was my partner's birthday.
Alessandro covered so much in 4 hours, from the must-sees of the city to the lesser known gems, the things that only a local can tell you. The information was conveyed in an interesting way, not some sort of lecture.
We hopped off the bike at one point to explore the narrow streets of the gothic quarter, with a stop off at a fantastic gelato shop - at our request.
The best part - just cruising around such a beautiful city on a pretty rare bright red motorbike and sidecar! One thing we did not expect - to have so much positive attention from onlookers.
We booked the half-day sidecar tour as it suited our existing itinerary, but we did opt
for the extra hour to take in more sights and make the most of our experience. Oh,
we also chose to add on a couple glasses of Cava too, which we’d highly
recommend. We sipped away at the top of Montjuic Hill and took in the views of the
city below.
Overall the service was fantastic. I was able to easily amend my booking after
realising I had other activities that would clash with the sidecar tour. Emailing the team was straightforward and painless! Responses were also quick and informative.
And as I mentioned earlier Alessandro (our guide) was great throughout the tour. He was professional, knowledgeable, funny and most importantly, he made us feel completely safe on the bike.
A true 5* experience!
He was very knowledgeable of the culture and history of the city. No better way to enjoy the city than on a sidecar motorcycle.
I highly recommend taking this tour.
