Excellent! Magnificent!

Our guide was GREAT! Our only complaint was there was NO Sign with our guide as directed in our instructions at the Arc de Triumf as promised, and we nearly missed the bus despite being there 30 minutes early!
Great tour to do once in Barcelona

Roger our tour guide was very friendly and Francisco our driver was alert and drove us safely to and from the location.
Worth a visit

The trip was fantastic. Monseratt was amazing and definitely recommend visiting. The virgin Mary and liquor tasting were both worthwhile experiences. Although the audiovisual tour was not too exciting. The museum was interesting and had a good range of artists. Would've been nice to have another hour or two to go on the fununcular or walk over to the cross. Tour guide was good.

The ticket handling description made it seem a lot more confusing than it was. It said to arrive early to redeem out tickets. However we arrived the advised 15 mins before the departing time and no one was there yet. All that needed to be done was our name checked off.

Anatoli was the best guide you could ask for, he did an excellent job, very knowledgeable. Vehicle was very clean and did a great job for our small group. Would recommend this trip to Montserrat.

Montserrat is amazing and totally worth the time. Get a guided tour so you can learn more about the meaning and history behind everything.
Wonderful day in Montserrat
Melina_S, 02-11-2022
This tour was really beautiful. It's pretty much transportation, a lovely tour of the town/monastery and then you get tickets to access other parts of the mountain. The bus was great and convenient to get to and from the mountain. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a great tour of the area. We walked out to the cross in the hill to get the best view of the town, which our guide recommended.
Beautiful place and Interesting history!

I don't usually book guided tours but I'm so glad I booked this one! Thanks to our lovely local tour guide Gaby we learnt so much about Montserrat Monastery and things that we wouldn't have learned searching just by online. I recommend you get there with the early tour if you can because it can get crowded later on. Montserrat Monastery is a beautiful place to visit with a very interesting history and I definitely recommend waking up early one day during your holidays to visit. (And you have the rest of the day free to enjoy Barcelona)
Great Experience!

The tour guide is very friendly and informative. The place is beautiful and is definitely one of the place to visit when comes to Barcelona. The bus ride took about 40 mins to reach while taking public transport may take about 2-3 hours.

Peace and beauty above the mist
Andy D, 11-12-2022
Peace and beauty above the mist. We visited Montserrat on a day when there was low lying cloud and mist, which added to the mystery. The cloud gradually cleared giving spectacular views of the surrounding countryside, as far as the distant Pyrenees! We could also clearly see the cable cars and funicular railway.
There is much to see, the sheer beauty of the Basilica, the monk's quarters and the Boy's School. The highlight of the visit was seeing the Black Madonna. There are also separate audiovisual presentations, a museum and for those more energetic, opportunities to walk in the mountains from the settlement. There is also a vertiginous funicular going even higher than the basilica. Our tour guide Gabi was excellent. She was welcoming, friendly, funny and highly informative. Great tour
Short enjoyable tour
Drsabharwal, 21-11-2022
The tour is organised to give a brief overview of the Montserrat. If one wants to enjoy various activities such as funicular ride or mountain hiking etc then this tour is not for you. It does say that it reaches before others but by the time we reached there , it was already quite crowded.
The meeting point is a bit dicey as others have already pointed out as the bus came and stood some distance away from the shown meeting point. The bus ride is good. We could see the black Madonna, the church, monastery and the museum in the given time and also had time for liquor tasting and gulping some coffee
Overall the tour is short and good and it is a good experience
Would recommend
Fun, but too short

We enjoyed our trip to Montserrat with Christina. It definitely made us more interested in going back again as we felt we needed a lot more time to really take in all of the different things. We really only had time to do the licor tasting and walk around a bit to take pictures. The other items available to do would have taken too much time to get in before the bus was leaving, and we didn't want to have to pay for extra train tickets to get back to Barcelona.

The one thing that was annoying was that the link that was sent for the Google map to get to the pickup point directed us (and another couple) to the wrong location. That should get fixed so as to not cause confusion to others. The link takes you to 1, and we should have been at 5.
Good
